588 pages of randomly-placed words

This book is the most worthless text I have ever had to purchase for my nursing program.
With headings like "The Four requisites in Professional Governance" you might expect there might be discussion of four requisites to follow. NOPE. What you will get is a string of verbose yet meaningless run-on sentences. That have nothing to do with the preceding heading. Unclear, rambling thoughts poorly articulated with vocabulary that makes you feel the authors should have their thesaurus taken away.
This book excels at hyperbole and never actually addressing the topic it promises to discuss, much like reading a 588 page politician's speech.
Another charming feature in this book is the unconventional organization. You think you finished a chapter because you reached the references? Wrong! That will be followed by about 20 pages of useless "appendices" filled with more of the same drivel that was in the chapter, but yet for reasons unknown, segregated to the end of the chapter in an appendix.
If you have to buy this book for a course, my condolences. If you are considering buying it voluntarily, I wouldn't recommend it unless it is as a gag gift, paperweight, kindling, etc.
